I respect everyones opinion but what I saw Clemson do against a GREAT Alabama defense was incredible.

My gosh, man. 3 times in one post? You are pathetic.
Can't tell you how much that hurts my feelings.

The only line I have seen is around 7. But I'm sure you know a lot more about it than the experts.
Quoting the experts, dickweed.

And the 'experts' are saying 7-7.5. Not sure what kind of low rent bullshite is publishing 18. Sounds like wishful thinking on your part.

I expect Auburn to put up a fight, but they will lose to Clemson.

Yeah. We're in the same boat as LSU
quote:You're not arguing that Steele=Aranda. That's not a question. Aranda has consistently put out top 5-10 defenses with mediocre talent. Steele takes a shite with great talent. You'll find out soon enough.
Their DC couldn't hold an sec team to less than 28 points at his last job. Even south Carolina got 34 on him.

I watched a Kevin Steele coached defense last year and am glad he is not LSU's DC this year.
Clemson about to eat

Right. And it's not like Aranda brought his players from Wisc to LSU.
Hell, Anthony fricking Jennings beat Aranda's D 2yrs ago. But anyone with a brain can see that he's still a great DC. Dude's gonna wreck shite.

quote:The numbers are what I said. We've seen in Bert the big 10 is well below the sec. Saying he had a good defense there doesn't mean he will be good in the sec.
Oh how you wish that were true. You're not fooling anybody.
quote:Yeah, against mediocre talent. When he faced sec talent he looks as bad as yall claim Steele is. The only team there with sec talent is OSU and the 2 times he faced them he gave up 31 and 59. He might be better than Steele but he hasn't proven it against the sec.
Aranda has consistently put out top 5-10 defenses with mediocre talent.

No, I hope they get beat by 100 or more and the stadium collapses. But that's just me.

Win or lose....I mostly care that the Auburn players personally make this a hostile, unpleasant and yes, painful 3+ hour experience for the Clemson players they will remember for the rest of their lives.
And the fans can do their part by ingesting liquid courage for 8 - 12 hours prior to kickoff and then screaming at the top of their lungs whenever our D is on the field and Watson is under center.
I really look forward to Kam Pettway, Braden Smith, Tre Williams and others knocking the absolute living daylights out of the South Carolina visitors.
Let's get it on!

Last years Clemson D lost 7 starters and all 7 were drafted in the NFL. How does Clemson replace that prolific Defense? They can't. That's Auburn's opportunity. Watson will do his magic but if Auburn can slow him down and complete some passes to open up a little running room the 7 point spread could disappear and Auburn could upset Dabo's Tigers.

You are absolutely correct sir.
Clemson has a lot of weaknesses and their QB is highly overrated.
Datsun makes great plays sporadically but he isn't very complete and falters down the stretch.
Clemson looks like a 3 loss team this year and one will be at Jordan-Hare.
