Who else in the SEC can match it? What is the guideline to keeping a coach in the SEC? The standard I gave you is higher then most in the league and Gus has met it three of five seasons.

The only thing Chizik was good for was coaching defense, when it comes to being a head coach and elevating entire teams to immense greatness, dude has limitations and that was justified by his Auburn teams not winning more than 8 games the years they didn't have Cam. Cam and Gus won Auburn that championship, though they had Fairley, that D was marginal throughout that season and would've been insufficient for normal college teams in the pursuit of championships. Moreover, Gus took a team with Nick Marshall as the starting QB to within a minute of winning the school's 3rd natty against top-ranked FSU, dude's a great offensive mind and is capable of converting marginal talent to SEC greatness consistently as he's done so far.
