Aug. 31......... Virginia Tech.............................. Atlanta, Ga.
Sept. 14......... *at Texas A&M............................ College Station, Texas
Sept. 21......... Colorado State............................. Bryant-Denny Stadium
Sept. 28......... *Ole Miss..................................... Bryant-Denny Stadium
Oct. 5............ Georgia State............................... Bryant-Denny Stadium
Oct. 12.......... *at Kentucky............................... Lexington, Ky.
Oct. 19.......... *Arkansas.................................... Bryant-Denny Stadium
Oct. 26.......... *Tennessee.................................. Bryant-Denny Stadium
Nov. 9........... *LSU.............................................. Bryant-Denny Stadium
Nov. 16......... *at Mississippi State................. Starkville, Miss.
Nov. 23......... Chattanooga................................. Bryant-Denny Stadium
Nov. 30......... *at Auburn................................... Auburn, Ala.

Alabama as of this year has 2 top 25 ranked teams on their schedule.. The only teams that stand in there way are the aggies, a much improved ole miss team, and LSU of course. They get LSU and Ole Miss at home and have to travel to College station... Meanwhile LSU has non conference games against good and improving TCU and Kent State teams. We Also get 4 of the arguably best teams in the SEC: Georgia, Florida, A&M, and Alabama. The schedule is obviously lob sided, and in my opinion they have a clear road to victory once again. Well Ole Miss is clearly much improved, they almost beat us in our own DEATH VALLEY, and destroyed an average PITT team who should have beaten Notre Dame. As for Kent State they are a "improving", just look at their record, or top 25 ranking in several weeks.

Well if it makes you feel better, then go take a look at tOSU's schedule next year. It is a total farce. They will be ranked high at the beginning and shouldn't even come close to losing a game next year. You can go ahead and pencil them in to one of the spots in the MNC. Honestly the two best teams they will face will be Northwestern and Michigan. Just contemplate that.

As for conspiracy, I have to say the rebooted SEC schedules this past year and next year really did screw LSU. USCe was bitching and moaning, but at least they got the harder one year and the easier the next. LSU was royally screwed over both years compared to Bama and aTm.

Yet you assume LSU and Alabama are the only two teams that ever win in the SEC.

Cough Cough, Georgia.

Only problem with this theory is that the SECCG is played first week of December and Bama, if it does make it that far, has to play probably UF or USC and it may not go well this time. Dont laugh about UF...some of you are the same ones that just brush me off when I predicted in August we would beat LSU. Boom will have a solid team and the offense will improve now that qb snaps can go to Driskel instead of the split that he had with Brissett during spring/summer/early fall. He is still very young and will learn and improve.

Anyway...the west is probably fricked with that Bama schedule...weaker than the punch served at the ladies garden club pinocle game. A&M has the best chance to unseat them.
