A healthy defense, or at least a couple of those linebackers, would probably have been worth at least a touchdown less for Auburn.
Factor in the couple of linebackers we got back for the playoffs, and if Tagovailoa had played vs Auburn, and Alabama would probably have won that game too.
edit: It's neither here nor there. It's a moot point. The injured players didn't play, neither did Tagovailoa, and Auburn won the game, same as Alabama won the national championship game.

Considering how a healthy unit looked against Clemson and Georgia, I think it makes it a much tighter game.
I can't say for sure the offense at that point takes advantage, outside of a forced turnover and short field.
But we will never know.

all have more recent national Titles than LSU. And LSU appears to be losing ground in the SEC, not gaining.
The list of teams having won national Titles since Georgia has won one would certainly be longer, but lets not pretend LSU is recently removed from a title, either.
By the way....Alabama has won 5 national Titles since LSU has won one. Chew on that one for a bit.

Honest to goodnes, we could have so many decent conversations on here with some lighthearted ribbing. I relize we have been taking it on the chin with Auburn trolls the last 3-4 days, but I still hate to see it when our fans do it.

The best part of 2010 was even though the game was tied late I knew we were going to win. Wasn't sure how, but I never once considered losing. It was an awesome night.

Hmmm we also have owned the war song birds 11 of the last 13. Same number as titles since 1980. UGA has been the better program pretty much. So, regardless if we seen it or not. UGA just owns auburn. We also have more sec titles. I'm sorry Duncanitaly

It really was amazing. I have only been an Auburn fan since I started in '92 and it was such a long wait, but totally worth it!
