Oh, how I love the irony. I vividly remember getting ready to go to a New Year's Eve party on Dec 31, 2010 while ironing out the final details of my trip to Phoenix a week later to watch my beloved Auburn Tigers actually WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. While I was doing so, I had one of those minor bowls on in the background. I believe that it may been the Liberty Bowl. I wasn't really paying too much attention because I just assumed there was NO WAY a THREE (3) LOSS UCF could ever hang with a stellar Georgia team that was still crying about that big old meanie Nick Fairley. Certainly, UGA could never embarrass the SEC by losing to a THREE (3) LOSS UCF.
I was wrong.

Yea, how embarrassing for a team (that crushed uga 40-17 earlier) to lose to an UNDEFEATED and eventually 6th ranked UCF with all of that motivation Auburn must have had.

Good teams with good coaches get up for games even when they aren’t happy with their blot in life.
UGA did lose to UCF in a minor bowl. We made a decision years later to move on from that coach.
Auburn has embarrassed the SEC in bowl games the last two years in NY6 bowls. Gusbus is 0-4 in January bowls.
I can go on all day.

Did you mention Gus has won an SEC title, played for another...the only active SEC coach to beat Saban?
Your thoughts would be like someone saying uga embarrassed the SEC by letting a non-confernce champion win a title. It sounds good, but it makes the person saying it look stupid.
