I would bet arky but don't be surprised if we win this. We didn't respond well after the bye week, and now we are at home, we just played a great team, and we are healthy. We've come up short three times against the top ranked SEC teams. They'll be trying to prove themselves this saturday.

And thanks for the actual football thread.

We let Tyler Wilson take over at the start of the fourth as well as an opportunity for the younger players.

52-13

Vegas lines that seem to good to be true always worry me, but I see Arky winning by 10 or more.

I'd be very careful if you were considering betting big on Arkansas. 86% of public is on Arkansas and the line has moved in favor of MSU. As I said the other day, when the books take a lean like this, I usually bet with them. They're not in the business of losing money.

FWIW, my RLM plays (and this is one) are hitting at 65% this year: 21-11.

I think Hogs win a close one. No way we win by 20-30 points. Of course, I thought the same thing about SC.

It always cracks me up to see backwoods Mississippi posters come on to message boards and try to slam another state.

You do know Vegas does not care who wins. The money is 50 - 50 on both sides. The line moves to keep it that way. Vegas never loses money on a game.

You don't know much about line movement then. Books like money to be 50-50, but when the public is > 80% on a team, that means BIG money is on the other side, especially when the line movement moves opposite the betting public. Big money usually = sharps. Sharps don't always win, but they win more often than lose which is why books move the lines the way they do.

I would call us losing two games in the fourth quarter "coming up short", I would call your losses to Alabama and LSU "coming up empty."

Line was near that for the A&M game and I thought it was too good to be true. Had me biting my nails until that abortion of a game finally ended.

You can get it at -3 at sportsbook and bookmaker. I think we win by 10 to 15, but I still took a 0.5 hook to get it at -2.5 just because I am nervous about the way the line has played out.
