Today is the 9 year anniversary of the 2 Mississippi State Basketball players fighting each other in the stands.

Some good and bad in here. Tutorgate did cost you 2. Injuries cost you another but the roster mismanagement is what enabled the 10 and injuries to hurt you. That's on the former staff. There is no reason why you had to play freshman DTs. None.
He had to bring in a QB and when he was healthy, he was good. If you don't show what you are trying to do, you won't get the WRs and the TEs in. Most players right now know what Moorhead is about. He's also a great recruiter.
Horrible comparison. Ms St was not going up against Ms St. Doesn't work that way.
All teams have these, including us. Fighting at practice is not a negative, but it sounds like it's just 1 punch and that it was a unfortunate land. Most of the time, the result isn't this.
I remember Jones talking about him and AJ getting in brawls at practice all year. That led up to the National Championship shove after AJ cursed him out

Bringing in the savior backup QB at Penn State and benching a well liked QB that had experience and out played Lamar Jackson in a bowl game a couple years ago was bad enough.

Now our starting linebacker and our starting quarterback got into it and threw fists, resulting in the injury to our starting QB - a freshman - who is the future at MSU.

I have no idea what this is about.
Evidently a LB hit the QB in a practice where he is in NON CONTACT and did it LATE. The qb SMACKED the LB on the arse and told him great hit but it would have been a flag because it was late.
That LB did not take it well and the practice was heated from there on.
After practice was over while most of the team was talking to an injured player (horrible car accident)who showed up, the back and forth continued and they went to separate the LB from the QB and the LB hit him in the eye causing it to swell. He may not play in the bowl game.

Blame the coach. Lack of control over this team
State fans with the lack of reality. Fights happen at practice.

$150,000 is not $180,000.
MSU has to own this. They had a very strong team that year...would've been a serious NC contender with the purchase of lightning in a bottle at QB.

Coming from a South Carolina fan? That's priceless.
There aren't many teams South Carolina has an all-time winning record against. Mississippi State is one of them.
There aren't many teams that have a worse all-time record than South Carolina. Again, Mississippi State is one of them.
I can't imagine a program that sucks worse historically than my alma mater, but y'all managed to have done it. Congrats.

Gay was suspended for 8 games. Played in 4 and got thrown out of two of those. His arse needs to hit the pavement.

This was my favorite part. How did this future heisman and nfl mvp fail to play?
