I know that our Louisiana Brothers and Sisters are about to get hit hard by another Storm.

Please let us know on the Plains if there is something that we can do.

We were hit by one two weeks ago and are still digging things out on the dirt roads of West Georgia and East Alabama.

The rain took my driveway away. And we are thankful for a tractor to do the job.

Please stay safe my LSU friends.

Pouring rain for hours and hours is not a Joke.

If anyone hears of legit organizations wanting to help with donations, clothing , household items, clean up, etc. after the storm would it be ok to post their name and info here? The SEC may taunt and insult each other on a daily basis but we are family. At times like this most want to help.

Getting hit by a Hurricane is no joke. People die in floods from a creek or stream in a matter of 30 minutes.

The wind and water changes the whole landscape in a day.

Laugh all you want.

I personally don't like having to cut trees down where I live and having my electricity going out for 2 days.

Like I said, we went through a similar storm last week, and can relate.

Get over yourselves.

Y’all have come thru powerful storms many times before. It probably wont be easy but Louisiana is going to be ok. Lots of strong stubborn people in your state and no storm is going to beat you

2 days would be a dream scenario. Try 2 weeks. Sometimes, like In lake Charles after Laura; a month or more…. It’s rough

I already know of churches preparing to send needed items

I would imagine that all the power companies have their trucks on standby to head to La. once the storm passes

The South takes care of its own

A hint from someone who knows. If you have pictures (or anything) you want to keep safe, put them in the dishwasher, remove the racks for room, as it is water tight (just do not turn it on)

God Bless those in the path

If even one person dies or suffers, it's Joe Biden's fault.

No, you didn't and you can't relate. Nobody who lives in central Alabama has or ever will experience what a coastal area goes through when a major hurricane hits.

The closest we've ever gotten was Ivan and Opal. They were still low level hurricanes when they came through here. Power was out in some areas for a week, almost all roads were impassable, and we were thankful we weren't in Baldwin county.

You want to know what a major hurricane is like? Assuming you really are in Auburn and not just a Harry alter, go look at what the tornado did to Beauregard and imagine that happening to every inch of Lee, Russell, Chambers, Macon, Bullock, and Barbour counties.
