Still don’t understand how a matchup like this happens. Miss st has played great this year and definitely going to get shafted because of them being seeded lower than they should have . Two world series teams playing each other .

First game in the books and it was a nail biter. MState has played us tight all year, and I agree. Shame we had to be placed in the same Super.

The winner of this Super is my favorite to win it all. With Texas a close second. But it should be one of those three teams representing the right side of the bracket. And they will boat race whomever makes it through the left side in the championship series

Committee loves to pair up SEC hosts in the supers. It’s really fricking annoying.

I don’t necessarily think they should re-seed but I hate year after year multiple SEC hosts being paired up

This does seem to be the case every year. Think they're worried they could have 3/4 of the World Series as sec teams if they didn't have to knock each other out in the super.

That’s exactly why they do it and it’s bs.

Of course the SEC haters say the committee does it so it guarantees an SEC team in Omaha but that opinion is so wildly off base considering for the better part of a decade SEC teams bash everyone else in Omaha

Last season in the CFP, Oklahoma and Georgia were aligned with teams in their path that they had already beaten in the regular season. In basketball the SEC had the most teams in the tournament but was the only conference that was seeded in 3 regions instead of all 4.

Felt like if state scores in the 9th Georgia would hammer away in the bottom half. No lead was safe.

Look what happened in the CFP last season Oklahoma and Georgia was aligned with teams in their path that they had already beaten in the regular season and in Basketball the league had the most teams in but the SEC was the only conference to be 3 regions while all the other conferences were placed in all 4 regions.

The problem is a million of us make the tournament every season and they won't but us in the same regional - so it does mean we all just meet in the supers

Yep. They do this shite on purpose, bunch of incompetant fricks.

I mean look at the college football committee, they couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag without their assistant.

Just a really, really good game. I agree. No lead was safe for either team. No matter who wins between the two, it will be a shame that team will be out.

Georgia had to play two top ten teams on their schedule, not once, but twice last season. If you told me ten years ago Georgia would have to play two top ten teams from the SEC twice just to make it to the semi final game I would have never believed it.

that actually shafted us. MSU is one of the best teams left in the field that we head scratchingly have to play again, despite playing them 4 times already. We shouldn't have to prove one single fricking thing against MSU thsi year but the committee thought otherwise.

Sure woudl be nice to be on the left side of the bracket and have to play little rock or fricking cal poly to get to omaha.
