For a founding member Georgia sure does have acceptance issues.

You won the game. You're one game from a shot at a NC.

Who cares whether people think Georgia beat Florida or Florida beat themselves?

I have to say, I knew exactly where this thread was and should have gone. Are the Georgia fans really arguing this after the great "we gave you the game" of 2011? Seriously? Have you people no sense of intellectual honesty?

WTF are you talking about? Which game?

If you would have actually read the OP, all I was doing was refuting that this game means any less or was cheapened by UF's turnovers, since in reality those turnovers were caused by our defense.

Oh, I can read. You just can't remember what you and the Georgia contingent were saying all last year and all off season about the South Carolina game.

At least be consistent. Bashing Carolina for creating turnovers and then posting this pile,

No, apparently you can't. All we were saying was that, contrary to popular belief, our defense didn't give up 45 points. People pointed to our poor defense that game and giving up 6 touchdowns, when many of those points were off of offense and special teams. NOBODY was saying it discounted USC's win or the game meant any less or they shouldn't count.

People talk about this year's UF game as if it shouldn't mean as much. One tool earlier this week even said something along the lines of "turnovers aren't part of the game"

I get it. You want Georgia to be respected.

You're gonna have to beat Bama and ND to earn that.

Here is the point:

1) Alabama is better than Florida in EVERY aspect of the game. Particularly on offense.

2) Georgia wouldn't have won that game without the turnovers.

3) Alabama does not turn the ball over very much and will not have 6 turn overs in tomorrow's game.

Therefore, if Georgia is banking on a performance like they had against Florida to get them past Alabama, they are in for a big disappointment.

This thread didn't have one, single, solitary thing to do with tomorrow.

Not one person has said that.

I don't think our defense is better. Offense is but I think Florida might have the best defense in the country.

Cuse me? EVERY ASPECT? I think you have drank too much Crimson Kool Aid

Anyway....back to OP and subject at hand...there were turnovers that we committed w/o contact...but hey, UGA bothered us and we will chalk it up to that. The 24 flags thrown by refs was a frigging nightmare...14 on you guys and 10 on us...thats just the flags that were accepted. It was a strange game. UGA had backs to the walkl with one L and were undefeated and # 2 and had just finished a gruesome gamelog...but its still an L.
Im looking forward to a good game in the dome and have no real reason to root for or against. On one hand Bama wins and they just continue to the "myth" of Saban and will poach a few Florida recruits in the future and stay on mountain top...UGA wins and they will poach a few recruits in the future and we will have to hear their shite.
So, no matter who wins it wont help us.
