I honestly don’t GAF if they wear the patch or not or if people keep saying 1980. Does it bother you that MSU has never won a national championship. . . in any team sport?

The point isn’t that beating Auburn is some amazing accomplishment (hell SEC East teams are all beating them these days)
The point is Auburn likes to hop in on mocking UGA like they’re Bama or LSU. The difference is those schools have handled UGA lately but Auburn gets stomped every season by UGA.
The way they dickride Bama is sad, but it drives home the lesson we’ve all learned: There’s no such thing as Auburn fans, there’s just Bama fans who love the tide all year, and Bama fans who start saying Roll Tide once Auburn loses to UGA.

Honestly I’ve never cared about 1980 jokes. My happiness is not dependent on if my team wins a championship or not. I only replied because there was already a thread two posts down on this same subject.
