So, what does this mean for the ACC?
Their champion is 7-5 and the only team that even close to making the playoffs wasn’t even in the conference championship.

Honestly it probably solidifies Notre Dame and Bama in the playoffs. It would be hard to justify letting Miami in when a 5 loss Duke is their conference champion.

Miami is 10-2 and beat FSU while Bama is 10-3 and lost to FSU.

Yeah but it’s the optics of the ACC being extremely down. Yeah you’re 10-2 and beat Notre Dame but you didn’t make the conference championship and your champion is arguably the 7th best one in the country.
