We did lose to FSU, it hurt, but we had the 2010 championship fall back on. UGA has 1980.
We also did not choke that game, we just scored too soon. A pass interference in the end zone cost us that game (not blaming the refs).
Glad to see Bama win, first time in my life I can say that.

Foreever is already here? I have no pain. We went much further than we thought this year. We won the SEC. Beat ND, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn when it counted, Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl, and took the most dominating team of the decade into overtime.
We have the #1 recruiting class.
All in all, I am very happy with the year.

I'm sorry. is there an expiration date on national Titles? If so, what is it? 5 years? 10? 15? 20? 30? 40? When do the stop counting?
I find it odd when a fan stops bragging on their wins and starts celebrating their rivals losses. It says a lot about their own program.
If it makes you feel better, I hope Georgia plays Alabama for the national Title the next 10 years in a row.

2013 still hurts me. I cant imagine being a uga fan last night. 2013 would be brutal to me if I didnt have 2010 to fall back on

It's awful, though as a fan of sports teams in the state of Georgia it is what we have grown accustomed too.

The PI call after Auburn stopped FSU on 4th down gave them 1st and goal on the 2
I still dont think that penalty should have been called

We had the championship 3 years earlier, an undefeated season we could claim the title if we want 6 years before that (2004), an undefeated season in 1993, and a national championship in 1983.

And just think...2012...bama kept us from a probable championship as well.our spirits should be crushed by now...right?....nah man..we will keep trying till we get it right....do you even sport man? Lol...college football is great..u win some u lose some....u do it until u get it right..it's part of the game....your favorite dog dying is the kind of pain you speak of.....we lost..but I'm proud of those dawgs....great year!

Lot of deflecting in this thread. Every Auburn fan can say what they want to but 2013 sucked. We didn't herp derp it away like uga, but losing still sucked. Getting there requires a lot of things to go your way. uga may start making regular appearances, but history suggest they won't.

We beat OU the same way... shite happens. fricking sucks but I'm not going to be a pussy and stop watching football. Looking forward to the UGAvBama rematch in the SEC Championship game next year.

Oklahoma fan here. We are used to it. Close losses to LSU and Florida; blowout to USC; CFP semifinal halftime leads against Clemson and Georgia; it’s nice to be consistent and get there. I guess when you have the reputation to go far, it’s easy to get excited for when the season soon approaches.
Georgia fans will be fine. Plenty to build on and get excited about.
