This is not a shot at Burrow but more at how there is a "generational" QB every other year nowadays. I don't think people understand what that means.
Yes to read here he’s both a generational QB and there won’t be much offensive drop off next year. That’s the kind of logic you get on here though. Worth what you pay for it.

This is true. Kind of mirrors LSU honestly...and teams have been able to rally back some against them like Bama did to LSU.

If I had to pick a team to be able to rally from a deficit, though, it’d be LSU.

You continue to duck and dodge the OP and my pointing out that Auburn's offense (which is not very good) almost outscored LSU's offense?

lol..I give credit to Auburn. That's the best defense we have faced. We moved the ball between the 20's fairly easily..just stalled when it mattered. To be honest I think they did a better job than UGA will do against us.

I'll go along with that but OSU can quick strike it to with their bevy of receivers... especially Olave.

How would those teams have done in the SEC?

I think we have already faced the most talented defenses we will face this year, and they haven't been able to stop it.

And our defense hasn't been great, but it's not a so-called Big 12 defense either. The talent and speed is there, they have just not always played well. They're certainly capable of slowing down most offenses. I really hope we get a shot at OSU.

They're like virgins who touched their first booby and think there'll never be another booby like that. That was a generational titteh!

A generational QB, athletes all over the field, great coaches. Sure, our defense hasn't been great. With this offense, they don't have to.

Sounds like Bamas 2018 team.
I cant say that you are definitively better since they ran more and that affects the amount of plays per game.

Oh yeah, it can happen. I hope LSU is not thinking the way you are. Then it will happen.

I can't either, but there is always a possibility when you play the teams we play.

Come on, you know this game isn’t played in a vacuum. Question: would LSU’s offense score more, the same, or fewer points if they played OSU’s schedule?

Do you honestly think there is a way to know the answer? I mean, if you had asked me something similar before you played Auburn, I would have said LSU scores 35 points and wins by 3 TDs.

I would like to believe that but I'm a realist.... I've watched to much football over my many years and to make frivolous boastful statements has always invariably backfired on me.

We all have. It's amazing what a ittle time and experience does to a person, isn't it?

I mean, honestly? I think LSU might be the best team in the country. But maybe not quite as good as some LSU fans think. Crap....look what happened to us against South Carolina. Sometimes things just don't go the way we expect.

Trus me. I mean no disrespect towards LSU or your offense. It's amazing what Orgeron has done. But, some LSU fans are going to learn what you and I already have elarned. Things are not as bad as they seem, and things are rarely as good as they seem.

LSU fans should be proud of their team. But they better watch out. Sometimes alligator mouths can overload hummingbird behinds. Believe me. I know.

Where in North Carolina are you, if you don't mind me asking? my wife and I have bought a lot there to build on when she retires.

Uh, this tells me you have not watch any LSU games. OSU offense is no where on the level of LSUs.

You didn't direct this at me, but...you haven't watched any OSU games, then, if you think this. OSU has a legit offense and a legit defense. Can they be beaten? Most assuredly. Can LSU be beaten? Most assuredly.

Can Georgia beat either one? I have no idea.
My head/gut sat says no.
