Absolutely. There were times in the Michigan game where Fields looked absolutely lost.

You said the exact same thing before the Gay & M game. Turns out you were right. No reason to doubt you now.

When? 6 out of OSU's first 8 possessions (with a kneel down possession) in the Michigan game went for TDs.

At that point, the game was 42-16. I will give you that he didn't look extremely accurate early, but he settled in pretty quick

He threw for 302 yards, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs in their biggest rivalry game on the biggest stage of his young career. Absolutely lost?

What about all those other games where he destroyed everything in front of him?

A generational QB, athletes all over the field, great coaches. Sure, our defense hasn't been great. With this offense, they don't have to.

You really don't think OSU and Clemson can say the exact same thing?

Trevor Lawrence was one of the top recruits of all time, and Fields was JUST behind him that year.

OSU and Clemson have athletes all over the field and great coaches too.

What has that got to do with him saying no college team can outscore your offense?

Duck, dodge and hide?

I didn't make the statement that nobody could beat us. Your guy did!

Stats say differently. No one is LSU's offense except for LSU.

I was just saying that we definitely would have lost if we had to play them. They beat the worlds best defense! With a freshman qb!

I'm not trying to start anything and I am NOT trolling...but which stats support that LSU's offense is a lot better than Ohio States? I am genuinely interested.

More yards on less plays.
More yards per game.
More yards per play.
Better QB efficiency rating.

OSU does have more TDs than LSU on the year.

Here is what I came up with, and it dovetails with what you are saying:

Passing yards per game:
LSU-390
OSU-253

Rushing yards per game:
LSU-170
OSU-280

Total Yards per game:
LSU-560 #2 in country
OSU- 533 #5 in country

Offensive TD's:
LSU-74
OSU-81

Seems pretty even to me. Both have great offenses and teams.

The difference could be defense....I haven't looked that up. That said, you can look at schedules and all that.....a lot plays into statistics besides just looking at raw data.

ETA
One caveat....OSU scored more often than LSU yet still ran more plays, which is actually a bigger stat than many think. Says more about the defense.

IF LSU beats us, I will be looking forward to the playoffs anyway. OSU, LSU, Clemson...those are three top notch teams that should make the playoffs very exciting. (I hope we beat you and go, though!)

It can always happen. Great offenses can have a bad day. Hopefully the team is laser focused and Joe is on.

I'm pretty sure their offense would ravage your defense and Dobbins would run all over you but okay.

OSU's O-line and D-line are as good as they come, and that's where it all starts. Nothing overcomes that, and that's what scares me.... They can literally do what they want.

LSU is a better offense than OSU, the defense is finally healthy and in back to its 2018 form, and Divinity will be back if they play in the NC game.

Keep thinking LSU is the same team they were earlier in the season.

So. You continue to duck and dodge the OP and my pointing out that Auburn's offense (which is not very good) almost outscored LSU's offense?

Okay. You want to talk about South Carolina? We beat Auburn worse, so that obviously means our team is better.

See? It doesn't really work that way. I'll gladly say that I think LSU will beat us. But then, it's not Georgia fans running all over the Rant saying we are going to score 50...or no team can beat us, etc.

Come on, you know this game isn’t played in a vacuum. Question: would LSU’s offense score more, the same, or fewer points if they played OSU’s schedule?

This is not a shot at Burrow but more at how there is a "generational" QB every other year nowadays. I don't think people understand what that means.

I would like to believe that but I'm a realist.... I've watched to much football over my many years and to make frivolous boastful statements has always invariably backfired on me. Truth is I'm a little scared of OSU as I've watched them many times this year on Fox. They are darn, darn good and it will take our best effort to beat them. Day goes for the jugular and if he starts scoring it's like in bunches... boom boom, and all of a sudden you're down 21-0 before you know it.
