It's my belief, yes, based on circumstantial evidence. I think there's enough of that to warrant an NCAA investigation.
I don't think it was Jimbo's recruiting prowess alone that landed a historic recruiting class.
You realize that A&M set all of this up with teams of attorneys, right?
and if there are executed agreements with recruits there will be a paper trail to a slam dunk case.

Somebody -- SOMEBODY!!! -- please go nuke the Auburn campus in order to raise the I.Q. of the state of Alabama!!
Cheaters? Auburn, you're as black as black as the iron kettle that needs to go flyin' upside your head! Auburn, you've cheated so much it took congressional action to keep your mascot from being a Cheetah!
Bye, Auburn!

Let’s get that investigation underway.

Everyone knows what was going down in those rooms. Don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out why top recruits $igned with A&M. Your coach has a history of recruiting violations and a show cause. It was really funny to see him screeching about never breaking rules.

I dont know if UGA is giving players NIL deals to get them to sign ( I am sure they and every other school is). But UGA does a good job of actually putting their players in ADS so you see that it actually using the NIL and not just pay to play.

In Texas, NIL cannot be conditioned or offered in exchange for athletic performance or continued enrollment/participation at the university or any other school.
As soon as an NIL offer is extended as a condition of enrolling at a school, a violation of state law has occurred.
It is your belief that executable NIL deals were extended to recruits?
Yes that is what everyone is saying. We are saying Texas A&M agreed to pay high school players millions of dollars (in total) to come to Texas A&M. They were promised this money just to sign with them.
They would work out the details at a later date whether they had to actaually make an appearance or shoot a commercial but what they did on or off the field does not matter.
They received the money ONLY to attend A&M. They were paid to play. They broke the NIL rules set up by the NCAA. They cheated.
We all realize the NCAA has no teeth, we realize many people do not agree with the rule or thinks it should not exist. But the rule does exist, and A&M cheated. They are cheaters.
If your wife is constantly late getting home, doesn't answer the phone, smells like Old Spice, is seen walking into a hotel with another man. Do you think to yourself "well, I've never seen her physically having sex with another man so I don't know for sure".
We all know it. Jimbo knows it. Aggie fans know it. You know it.

Good point, no way an attorney is crooked.

Bryce was offered NIL deals between his freshman and sophomore seasons, not as a high school recruit.
When did Bryce join the Bama roster? When did NIL come into play? Just wondering.

If A&M told all prospective DLs that if they sign, they’d get a $100k deal, would that be illegal?

NIL came into play after BY had beennat bama for a year. Thats y people who use his deals to make an argument for A&M come off looking foolish. Not saying u are so dont misunderstand.

To me, this was how NIL was supposed to work.

It was a commercial for a loan company.

that he had used this company and had a good experience with it, and recommended it to other people.
I agree this is generally what NIL was supposed to be, but I'm not sure if an ad with an athlete saying he had a great experience with a loan company is the best example. How much of a "loan" did this kid get, and what does a 20 year old on a full ride living in a dorm need a loan for?

This seems very different to me than just giving somebody who has never played $100,000 to come eat at your restaurant or whatever. I'm sure there are more football players doing straight up commercials like this but this is the first one I have heard.
What about saying “Let’s get it” on a personal injury commercial
