It's a paid endorsement, it doesn't matter. Do you really think Sebastian Gorka uses Relief Factor every night? Do you think Alex Trebek was an actual Colonial Penn life insurance customer?
Courts ruled long ago on first amendment grounds that you can pretty much lie your arse off for any kind of paid endorsement in America.

None of this can ever be clearly defined.
They have people who figure market value for something like this out, and it's roughly based on market size of the commercials, influence of the player, etc.
I personally have no idea what the dollar amount itself would be.

They are allowed to get loans.
A car would be the most common reason. Although they don't have to live in a dorm either, and the school will give them money for rent off campus(usually upperclassman, or those with families)

Brock is from Napa California where things are very expensive. Maybe he or family members used a loan for housing or extra coaching and training for Brock during his high school days etc. It really doesn’t matter and is no ones business as Brock got his NIL legally after he was signed and on the team.
