There's a lot of Oklahoma fans in NWA. They still bring up beating Bama in the Sugar Bowl. They don't even argue that it was a consolation game. Beating Bama under any circumstance had been enough to give them a multi-year hard-on.

Oklahoma will play like they did against Clemson 2 years ago. Start fast and fade under the constant pressure along the lines of both sides of the ball. They recruit speed and undersized linemen. The hammer that is Georgia 's running game will pound them. Mayfield hasnt seen the pressure he's about to receive since then.

OU has the best Oline in the nation and one of the biggest. They also faced a tOSU Dline that is much better than UGAs

It's a different style of defense. Idk how many times your fans have to be told our defense isn't one that relies on or plays to get sacks but Smith up the A gap will getcha when it's needed.

Best is debatable. UGA faced ND in South Bend. They have more NFL ready talent. Yet, we were able to control the line of scrimmage and even get to the mobile QB when a big play was needed.

I've never seen more SEC envy than with the OU posters. It hurts their feelings so badly that no one respects their shitty conference.

OU fans are the textbook definition of a lagging indicator.

When realignment happened us Aggies were quick to point out that meant they would actually have to start to compete with not just us but also other SEC teams for Texas recruits. They were so used to getting second pick after UT, and they figured that was their birthright to continue for forever. They completely denied that their recruiting grounds were under any threat.

Once they figured out how the realignment put them at a recruiting disadvantage years later their President starts making noise about needing a Big 12 Network years too late. They lost all their leverage when they signed that GOR, and they were too stupid to reason out the long term conclusions that were obvious to anyone with a brain in 2011.

Basically they are their mascot: Sooners were people who cheated to get land by getting there first before other people knew they could, and the Sooner football program is what it is because Switzer cheated and got titles way back when baseball was the big sport in America. They have had a lot of success since then riding that wave of momentum (combined with A&M's and UT's inadequacies), and they feel like things will never change for them.

Lol their entire fanbase was chanting “SEC, SEC, SEC” when Lyle choked away the game in Knoxville. Definitely take after their insecure former coach

Seems like Oklahoma is in Georgia fans’ heads based on the topics here.

We have an important game against them in a couple of weeks, so......................
