I have some legitimate concerns for Kiffin’s safety Saturday

I’m assuming LSU will provide beefed up personal security throughout the week and especially on Saturday, but is Ole Miss doing anything to add layers of security?

Maybe it’s me getting soft in my old age as I sit in my late 30s, but I hope nobody does anything stupid over a game.

Jeff Landry said that bringing in the National Guard to protect the team is on the table

Sadly wouldn’t be the worst use of tax dollars by that state

Not a terrible idea, tbh.

There were several x posts by OM fans now removed talking about Charlie Kirking Lane.

Not sure it IS a waste.

Maybe so, but all it takes is one retard who ain’t. Alcohol and anger aren’t a great combo.

It’ll be about as rowdy as Saban’s first visit to BR was…may even have a few Lane effigies strung up here and there.

If Saban made it through that game with no incident, I think Lane will be fine.

Saban did not leave LSU for Alabama, much less leave LSU in the middle of the season while contending for a national championship. So not really the same thing.

When you give a poor person a Ferrari, they typicaly don't respond too well when you take it back. When the appropriate response should've been being grateful that they got it in the first place

Still shatting yellow, youngster.

Historically, most violence at OM/LSU games in Oxford has been security beating up rebel fans

Assuming the worst, they’d almost certainly be party to a significant civil suit. I’d think a lawyer worth his weight in dirty socks would have them on the hook for being reasonably prudent in helping ensure his safety, especially given the known heated nature of the situation.

I am not a lawyer, but that makes sense to me.
