I have a theory regarding title IX

Hear me out. Woodward believes O is a bad coach and doesn't have much of a future here. He doesn't even attempt to cover anything up. His investigation results come out and title IX violations happened. He makes O a scapegoat and uses it as an excuse to clear house within the program and rebuild without burning millions of dollars.
Hypothetically could this happen?
ETA: I'm not in support of this just coming up with different scenarios. A lot of outcomes are on the table here and only time can tell what's going to happen.

Possibly but wouldn’t that open you up to lack of institutional control? And it’s also pretty gross imo to use something like possible multiple rapes as a way to get rid of your coach without pay.

Just saying if they did find out an incident occurred it could work out in our favor.

Yes, and I don’t mean you’re horrible for thinking that’s a possible outcome but it’s kinda horrible when you really think about what happened to cause it. I’m tired and that makes sense to me but I’m not sure it makes sense to a reader.

How could O be a "scapegoat" for Title IX violations? He has nothing to do with enforcing Title IX.
This is one of the weirdest theories I've ever heard and it keeps popping up.

I get exactly what you're trying to say and 100 percent agree. I absolutely hope and pray to God nothing happened and that there was no misconduct. I'm just looking at possible outcomes. Not hoping someone was treated according to what the allegations say happened.

People saying he ignored when he received word of the allegations. Just looking at possible scenarios here. Athletic program has to have some sort of protocol for this kinda stuff.

Woodward should use the abject failure of the athletic department, and the entire university, in investigating Title IX claims of sexual assault by athletes as an excuse for firing the head football coach without paying a buyout? A coach who won a national championship last season, no less. All the while implying that, if the coach hadn't had a complete failure of a season, Woodward would have covered for him.
That's fricking repugnant.

Who said that? It isn't in any the allegations made public so far. It wouldn't matter anyway though, you can't just punish people based on allegations.
The issue was the allegations were never investigated properly which has nothing to do with the football program.

Would ruin LSU even worse than O actually knowing.
If O were innocent, he’d sue, which would open the university up to discovery and other investigations.
They’d honestly probably get expelled from the SEC if your AD was caught wrongly shifting blame for a serious issue to benefit the football program. I mean, you’re already in trouble for overlooking accusations to benefit the football program...

Problem is it'll backfire once he tries to poach Jimbo who'll inevitably laugh in his face.

We've already had enough stale offenses and shitty quarterback play to last us a lifetime.
