What’s funny is an Aggy pointing at literally anybody else and calling it a clown show.
There’s a reason you can go into any gift shop or book store in Texas and buy a book a Aggy jokes.

It takes the right coach to turn a program, which we think we found. Are some of our fans cocky? 100%. Factors lead to higher expectations like being in the most fruitful state for football recruits, the massive brand and large NIL fund. Those definitely play a factor into why most Texas fans are “puffing out our chests” along with coming off a CFP appearance.
Anyways looking forward to the UGA coming to Austin this fall. Should be a great game!

Watched the Pony Express for the first time last night and learning about the Trans Am that A&M got ED made me start looking into his decision on SMU more. Stumbled across and interview and that’s what came up. Don’t make too much of it, just wanted to jab a little with the quote.

I was in my early 20s when A$M bribed Dickerson with the TA. Aggy was livid when he signed with SMU. Demanded the car back or else, blah, blah, blah. Eric told them to STFU or he'd tell the world how he got the car, A$M STFU.
I did get to see him play a couple of times while at SMU. A man playing against children. The Pony Excess was as dominant a team as has ever been. Many played NFL ball.
BTW, There is only one aggy joke, the rest are true stories.

If you watched Pony Express you also saw the part where Dickerson said a UT alum told him if he didn't go to UT, he'd never get a job in the state. He also said frick UT in that documentary.
Also, the documentary showed that when SMU beat Texas in football the NCAA came calling the next week.

Was a good documentary for sure. There was a poster on shaggybevo that worked on Pony Express. He said while researching they uncovered lots of players that got paid at different SWC schools, Even players from the University of by God Texas at Austin.

Horns are like the guy who mortgaged his house to buy a fancy sports car. Lots of flash, but behind the curtain, not much there. Landlocked campus surrounded by homeless people, in an area with no room to grow. Trying to tear down an historic building to build a football facility that may never happen. Oh yeah, and don't forget Cocks not Glocks, masculinUT, pro-Pakistan protests during the SEC celebration.
