I was hoping we would get UGA since it'd be a good game and they're due to rotate on our schedule but we got assigned UK instead. It sucks, but oh well. Maybe things will get back on track and we'll get UGA in '14.

I'm with you my man. I hate the cupcake schedule, and would trade LSU in a heartbeat. I think it's a mistake by the SEC as they could have given Bama a game to be excited about in Georgia, and also pacified the crybabies in BR with Kentucky..

I still can't understand why Auburn is in the West division and Missouri is in the East. Isn't Auburn, AL east of Nashville, TN?

Exactly, why do y'all keep crying to play UT? Will your pussy not stop bleeding if you rotate all the teams out of the East?

Do you see any UT fans whining about having to play Bama every year?

That is the least of their problems.

We didn't have to cry for anything. That's the way it's always been.

I understand y'all don't care but Bama UT OHIO and Michigan are what cfb is all about. It really is one of the few differences between NFL and College. People as a whole are far more passionate about cfb and these rivalries than NFL fans where players change teams and teams move from city to city. I suspect now that the old aTm LSU rivalry will be renewed assuming aTm becomes competitive with LSU will help some of you younger fans to understand why these games mean so much to fans

Some of you you get fans to understand why these games mean so much to fans

No one outside of your two states cares about Bama v. UT but Bama and UT grads. That game isn't on the same planet as Michigan v. Ohio State. Or even Georgia v. Florida. Hell, Oklahoma v Texas puts that on the back burner.

I want to see the Payton Mannings and Hershel Walkers of college football in Tiger Stadium. All the fans lose out on missing some of the best players in College football so you can keep your 3rd tier rivalry? That's stupid.

Damn, really? Its cause we suck right now. What do you want me to say. Bama sucked in the series from 95 to 06. Because on team is down for a bit we're supposed to stop one of the best rivalries in the nation?

This is definitely the arguement your AD should've made instead of whining about how unfair it was to play Florida every year.

This. If yall dont like it go to the big12 and have big games with no history against Texas and OU. Rivalries like bama-UT are what make the college game great.

You are looking at the rivalry based on the current state of the TN program. When both teams are Respectable programs it is considered one of the greatest rivalries in cfb.

Someone has an overinflated sense of the team they represent. OSU v. Mich is so far above bama v Vols. As it UT v. OU It is more on the level of the backyard bral or civil war.

Steelers v. Ravens, Dallas v. Eagles, Eagles v. Giants, Saints v. Falcons all of these are huge rivalries. There is a reason Tulane v. LSU rivalry died, cause Tulane sucks and left, TAMU v. UT cause TAMU could never win and took their ball and left.

UT v UA doesn't mean shite in this century. If it did then the student section would have taken up all the tickets.

Right now its not cause we're down. It has not always been that way and it won't always be that way.

College football has changed. Tennessee is not ever going to be what they once where. Bama and UT became rivals because y'all were the 2 dominant forces in the SEC. LSU has, for all intents and purposes, replaced you in that role.
