For me & a lot of LSU fans, it's not so much the games we have to play next yr vs bama's schedule, it's the fact that the SEC office is behind it. LSU's scheduling coordinator was on the radio yesterday & he said he had no idea what was behind the scheduling, as he was not contacted. Seems hard to believe that the league office would not involve all the schools' in making out this schedule. To be paranoid: only bama was contacted??
As for bama/UT being on primetime, I'll give the credit to bama being #1 in the country as the reason why it's on prime time, as LSU has had games broadcast on CBS for that very reason. But to say it's because of the rivalry is a joke. The main reason that most of the talking heads around the country are saying is that ESPN did not want to mess up ABC's coverage of UT/Baylor. And since ESPN/ABC is all bout money, that makes a lot more sense to anyone with common sense.
