The fact that Oklahoma is so bad right now has nothing to do with the SEC. Anyone but the most biased homer would know that the Sooners would be 4-3 right now even if they were still in the Big 12.

If the standard is beating Georgia, no I suppose we are not. I thnk we'll make the playoffs if Sark can tighten things up.

We seem to do pretty well in titles the last 20 years or so. How has the B1G done? I mean, championship games are typically the "end game" are they not?

The B1G is not up to SEC standards and as the season plays out you'll see. Those at the top of your conference have yet to play each other and there are not enough midlevel teams to challenge them.
Nice try and funny since the B1G dominates the top 5.

Only because the B1G backloads their schedules. The SEC has already had Alabama/Georgia, Texas/Georgia, Tennessee/Alabama, LSU/Ole Miss, Missouri/Texas A&M
All are teams in the top 15 and vying for a playoff spot. Tell us about all of the riveting top 15 matchups the B1G has had to date.

While the SEC has locked itself into its geographical sphere much as one would paint oneself into a corner,
In the last 25 years, current SEC teams have won 16 National Championships.
The current B1G teams have won 3 titles in the last 25 years.
I will paint myself into that kind of corner every. single. time.

Where did all those titles get you in your last TV deal?

State is 1-6 and OU is 4-3 but for some reason it feels like State has more fight than OU. I feel better about them than OU.

This is all coming from a fan who has never won a national title or made the playoffs. Have you guys even won an SEC title?

When did bragging rights go to TV deals? Did you get some of that money? Bc if you didn’t personally benefit from that TV deal this is the strangest flex of all time.

Brags about TV ratings. Is called out. Changes subject immediately after being called out. Checks out.

No need for this.
OU and Texas are great editions to the SEC and valuable assets to offset the expansion of the B1G.
Both things can be true. Texas and OU are great additions to the SEC and they are not ready to compete at the top of the SEC. UT is closer than OU but neither is currently built to compete in the SEC. That is not a slam, there are maybe 3 teams that could win the conference. UGA, LSU, ATM and possibly even Alabama still - they have the roster, they lack the coaching at the moment. South Carolina whacked Oklahoma on the road with a pretty bad SC team even by SC standards. UGA, with the worst team they have fielded in 3 seasons and with a pretty bad performance when all is said and done dominated Texas physically in Austin. A Texas team that is better than any they have fielded in 20 years (?). Both statements can be true, OU and Texas are great additions to the SEC, they are not built for the SEC in their current forms.
