The Chattahoochee River downstream of its confluence with Peachtree Creek (at the end of the Chattahoochee NRA and decent trout water on the Lanier tail water section) has brown trout with an adipose fin and brown trout with embedded kernels of corn. There are also more Yankees in Atlanta than there are in the whole state of South Carolina.

Non-resident GA fishing license is $10 for one day plus $3.50 per day after that. Seven days will cost you $31.00 in GA unless you want to add a trout non-resident trout stamp for another $25.00 bringing the total to $56.00. I paid a tad over $50.00 for a TN license to fish three days in the Smokies over Labor Days weekend. (Gonna pay another $62.50 to the State of Montana to fish from Sept 29 through Oct 2 in a couple weeks as well. Fishin' out of state is expensive everywhere for non-residents.)

We have to be honest here - our state went blue in the last presidential election, as well as the senate race last year. SC hasn't gone that far yet. Might be a good idea for a few of us here in this Great State of Georgia to hold off on chuckin' stones until we get some shutters over all the glass in this house.
