I feel like Ole Miss will be the 2nd best team in the conference at season's end

Just like 2015-16.
Probably behind Bama again but possibly LSU.
No Atlanta yet again.
Then comes the hammer.

I hate LSU, but this year will be a two horse race between them and Bama for the best team in the conference. They're returning a load of talent.

7-5 team the 2nd best in the conference?

Ole Miss was motor boated by Memphis. Not beat, but skull dragged in the 4th quarter.
Yes, I know, Arkansas lost to Toledo and so on, but it wasn't like watching a finesse team like Memphis push around a comatose Ole Miss team in the 4th quarter.
I think the ReBears win quite a few games next season but its the Kelly show. The highly touted defense could take any game off and if Kelly doesn't play like a Heisman trophy candidate that game then Ole Miss can loss to anyone on their schedule.

I would say 4th at best. Sorry.
Alabama, LSU and Tennessee

I think we have a better shot of winning at Ole Miss than Ole Miss does of sniffing a title.
And that's an understatement.

It won't be LSU, so Ole Miss has a shot behind Alabama

Of course you're not going to win a conference title.
When was the last time your team DID win a conference title? Your team lost to a first year coach at Florida, to fu(kin' Memphis, and to a mediocre Arkansas team.
I don't care what your team did the rest of the season, if you can't win the easy games on your schedule, you shouldn't even be TALKING about winning it all in the toughest division of the toughest conference in the nation.
And yeah, I could say all these same things about my own team.
Reality -- learn to cope with it. Ole Miss isn't a very good program and never has been.
Plus, you guys are about to get buttfu(ked by the NCAA.

And for the record, I don't buy all this crap everyone is talking about about "LSU gonna finish at the top" this year.
bullshite.
Every damn year we hear about how much "talent" LSU returns, and that's all well and good, but their multi-million dollar talent is terrible. The LSU powerbrokers ALMOST got it right last year by firing that idiot, and when he underachieves again this year he WILL be fired. Also, LSU fans, (and Bama fans, and Georgia fans apparently) seem to think their program is immune to the conventional wisdom of your team taking a step backwards when you have to replace coordinators on your staff. It boggles my mind to see fans of these programs insist that their talent is going to overcome their coaching deficiencies when, in LSU's case, they are switching coordinators on a yearly basis and in Georgia's case when they are insisting that a coach who has never ran a program before is going to take them back to the promised land. Alabama gets the benefit of the doubt for obvious reasons, but I don't understand how Georgia or LSU get that benefit. To me, those programs will have to prove it on the field.
I'm anxious to watch Arkansas wax LSU's arse for the third year in a row and the last 4 of 5.

This is our best team in 40+ years imo. Unfortunately our schedule is tough as balls.

Yeah, there's homerism everywhere. But it's been many years since LSU returned such an experienced, talented team with a veteran QB.

Agreed. LSU homers buy into the idea that coach O, Aranda, Craig, or whatever coach-du-jour is going to be a messiah. At the end of next season LSU's narrative may well be that it just took us too long to adapt to Aranda's system, but next year...

I, too, am looking forward to that game

Your posts are full of:
1) rage
2) suppressed homosexual violence
3) ignorance
It's clear you're frustrated, but are you sure you're not an Aggie?
