If you have watched FSU and Clemson play, you would notice a huge difference in the talent level between each. There is a reason for that. Either one can see talent a lot better or can develop talent better. It's not a good look for FSU any way you look at it.

Replace FSU with anyone but Bama and what you’re saying is true. Did you miss what their defense did to Auburn last year? Wasn’t it something like 11 sacks?

Since FSU joined the ACC in 92 they've won the conference 15 times, played for 6 national championships and won 3. Same time span the aggies have won 2 conference titles, played for zero national championships and won zero national championships. Why would the Aggies feel bad for FSU? I would bet anything FSU wins another championship before aTm.

Not really. Taggert's biggest accomplishment is one 10 win season at South Florida with a Birmingham Bowl win. Other than that he has an overall losing record and only got to 8 wins one other time. FSU took a HUGE risk by hiring him as his track record does not indicate he can build a team to win consistently, much less in a situation where he will be at a financial disadvantage to his competition with a tough schedule in a tough division of the ACC.

Jimbo left for many reasons but I think the overriding one was that he got tired of trying to keep up against Clemson without the resources to do so. He got no love for past accomplishments and knew his job would just get harder and harder to meet increasingly difficult expectations. A&M opened up the checkbook not only for his salary but also is giving him carte blanche on coaching hire money and facilities with reasonable expectations.

I think FSU is going to have a hard time getting back to the old days. The money isn't there.

It is so damn funny that you idiots keep trying to justify that contract. You sound like my wife after shoe shopping, but at least she can return them if they hurt her feet. You dipshits are stuck with that clearance product at double the price.
