I used to like Ole Miss. Until they hated on us for hiring Coach Tubs.

They acted like bitches and now I hate them too.

In fact, I hate every team in the SEC for these reasons:

bammer - cheaters
arkansas - Gus envy
lsu - they love bammer too much.
miss state - Cam scandal
texas am - Was fine with until acted like bitches on horse collar
georgia - fighting with us and trying to hurt Nick Fairley
uf - urban meyer

Now that I. Ink about it, UT, usc, and kentucky are OK

Vandy deserves no opinion.

Agree with a lot of your list. But you lost me at M. Henderson. Dude is a clown.

One of my sons went to Ole Miss before transferring to LSU and when he asked me to go visit having never been there hated the idea. I learned how wrong I was it's just a cool town, college is about the perfect size for me at least. My experience was from an outsider not knowing about the alumni and students as perceived in state. Some of it I found to be true and amusing, but most were just fine.
I must say that I have moved to North La. and notice its replaced SMU as the school the new money poseurs like to send their kids to as a status buy in.

Because you're the flagship university of the state that unleashed Byron De La Beckwith on society...

I don't care for them because northern Mississippi folks seem a bit out of touch and Ole Miss beats LSU every 3 years or so, which is aggravating.

The tailgating scene is okay, probably experienced the grove a bit too late in life to truly enjoy it.

Yes you do.

After the shame of 2004 when Auburn did not play for the natty. (Would have been just as unfair to leave out usc or oklahoma)......I thought there was no way the BCS could screw up a championship game worse.

I was wrong. Letting the window licking bammers bypass the SEC title game and replay you for the crystal was horrid. How do you guys respond?

By starting threads about how much talent there was on the field with your two teams. Threads about how great the 9-6 game was. Ya da yada yada.

If that happened to Auburn, I would respond to every comment from any bammer with a polite "F you". Until the end of time.

You guys keep on playing pattycake and joking with "good natured fun" with the bammers.

I do not get it. You need to get on the correct side of this war. The one with Auburn and the volunteers. Hopefully, texas a&m is going to see the light after the bammer media tried to tear JFF down at the start of last season.

Or, you could keep up the mutual respect and love of bammer.

Whatever suits you.

Whenever I hear the Hotty toddy chant it reminds of small children yelling and screaming for attention

The closest thing to a decent "burger" place in the entire state is Ward's, and that is because of the root beer not the chilli burgers. I am a huge burger fan but everytime I go there to visit I basically live on Popeyes because I can't stand what passes for a "burger" in that state.

The Ward's "Big One" is like eating a sackful of Krystal burgers.

But the root beer in the mugs is a wonderful treat.

Have you ever had a Stamps Burger? It's in Jackson. The Stamps guy's son owns another Burger place called Cool Al's. same burger. Just a"safer" part of town.

I'm sorry, but it blows Mugshots' brains out. And Mugshots burgers are good too.

But Stamps is the best burger I've ever had.

Ole Miss seems to have a disproportionate amount of gay folks, not that there is anything wrong with that. It's very "diverse" when it comes to sexual identity.

Gay people keep cities safe and clean. Definitely a plus. Baton Rouge could use some more gays, FWIW.
