Have done the neon pig. It's fantastic.
Went the day before thanksgiving last year, actually.
Best burger I've had in Mississippi--and it's not close.
A couple of photos I took while there :

Scruffy only half hates you, Rebelgator. The other half is indifferent.

I kinda want to shoot the guy talking about us not having good burger joints. I travel my arse off and the Blue Rooster is better / on par with anything.

Look through my post.
Then look through fire and he literally post about MSU every single time he is known for that.

I want them to be in a crashing airplane that somehow collides with a train carrying diesel fuel. And then I want stray dogs to pee on their charred corpses.
Is that too much?
Is that too much?

You left off the vat of hydrochloric acid.

We took our wedding pictures at The Ravine and spent our wedding night there. It's a cool place and I wish we had gotten to eat there.
As for the comment earlier about how Mississippians are in love with Oxford because it comparatively sucks less - I'm pretty sure Anthony Bourdain came through and loved everything he ate. Sooo...it's sort of national, too.
Also, Mugshots is the bomb.

Gazillions of national media outlets have recently featured Oxford. Aside from Bourdain's show on CNN there have been a few Travel Channel shows as well as features on Oxford in the NYT, WSJ, and Washington Post. And that's just to name the most prominent.
It's a cool town. People who can't see or accept this are either uncultured or jealous.

Their brunch is legit. Especially the chicken and waffles.

Oxford is a very nice place. We loved it there, and wish we could have the same jobs/career path but live back in Oxford. The region is very provincial and not very inviting, but the town is lovely and the addition of the university means you get enough cultural exposure that you are not shut off from the world.

Nothing wrong with Ole Miss....it's a quaint little school.
