Yep I agree 100% MSHawg. Mullen got owned in that Orange Bowl. I was there in Miami to be disappointed to know that 2014 was a waste. On the bright side Miami was a fun trip.

All trolling aside, I was legitimately hoping y'all would win that game. I was ready for Bama's dominance to end. Maybe MSU's East Mississippi talent could end that. Mullen did an amazing job given what Croom left him.
Congrats to MSU, y'all have moved ahead of Arkansas, as a program, for the moment.

We lost by 15 to a Ga Tech team playing great ball and that offense was hard to defend. Hard to prepare for that style. They won 11 games that year but it was the mismatch of their offensive play that did us in. shite happens.

Try having your university being within 90 miles of the University of Alabama and the University of Mississippi. That is miserable.

Arkansas won't be down like this horrible year forever but I will say this, Moorhead is recruiting and getting commits for his style of offense. I'm feeling pretty good right now.

Same could be said for Morris. This class is shaping up to be the highest rated recruiting class Arkansas has ever had. We have lost 2 commitments and still sit at 12 in the country according to rivals and 16 according to 247

True dat. I was actually in the new end zone boxes for the MSU-Arkansas game in '14 where Allen threw a pick trying to tie the game at the end. Nice stadium expansion y'all got

Iowa and State's are almost identical numbers wise but one thing is missing. State played 3 teams that are in the CFP or NY6 bowl. Iowa avoided playing Ohio State and Michigan. Those are the best 2 teams in their conference.

You stated that "he got up for bowl games that he wanted to win" The best bowl game that he got to was the Orange Bowl. His team clearly didn't look like it cared to be there. What "exactly" am I missing?

That sounds good but the fact remains, we had never seen the triple option and Ga Tech ran it well. It is what it is.

I can do excuses too. In '98, when MSU beat Arkansas on a questionable made field goal, Arkansas had missed three field goals. Arkansas' starting kicker had been suspended after driving his sorrows over the Stoern-over at Tennessee the week prior. The backup kicker missed multiple field goals against State, so really MSU doesn't have a single legit Western Division championship.
