I don't think we are going to beat Iowa in our bowl.

It would be nice to see our SR's go out with 4 straight bowl wins but I've been looking at Iowa and they are very good on defense #7 and a great OL.
They are only a few points from having a 10 win season and 6 points from an 11 win season. What you guys who bet on football think? And if Simmons declares for the draft and Montez Sweat decides to hold out and not play for the draft, that would be a killer.

If you can manage to run I do believe you will stop their run game

In all seriousness, run stopping is what we do well. The question is, can we run on their defense to have balance. 3rd and long is not what we do well lol.

These type of bowl games usually come down to the coaches attitude towards the game. Jackie tended to treat bowls as a rewarding vacation. Mullen turned it up for bowl games he really wanted to win.
Who knows how Joe will treat this game? He may spend 15 practices with the underclassmen, getting ready for next year and just let Fitz and the seniors go do what they want in Tampa. Just enjoy the trip

The Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech says otherwise

Actually, it says exactly that. Stop letting your boner for MSU message board for you

You stated that "he got up for bowl games that he wanted to win" The best bowl game that he got to was the Orange Bowl. His team clearly didn't look like it cared to be there. What "exactly" am I missing?

Both said they would be playing.
Iowa did what they did against a soft schedule and Big Ten offenses, which are hardly explosive.
They'll be lucky to score ten on us, and we will get at least three touchdowns. Their Defense is about on par with TAMU- pretty good, but we still got our points.

Moorhead already said everyone is playing. He doesn’t put up with that shite. Iowa getting rolled.
Team will also benefit from Iowa’s fans Outback fatigue. Stadium will be Maroon&White. We only play like crap in fromt of hostile environments.

Mississippi State is a terrible matchup for Iowa. That game won't be close. Simmons and Sweat have both already said they are playing in the bowl. Iowa might not cross the 50, unless we turn it over or shank a punt, which we are prone to do.

That was a Mullen with the wandering eye. Just like the Mullen who didn't show up for the OM game last year. He had no DC and the first year cornerbacks coach was left to gameplan for GT.
THAT Mullen was only interested in cashing in on being ranked #1 during the season

Iowa is a team that is fundamentally sound but not really exceptional at any one spot. State should have the advantage in terms of raw athleticism and should be able to exploit that.

The excuses flow like honey in Starkville. I suppose you would also argue that y'all lost the Kentucky game because of the officials.

Never answering my questions is embarrassing.
Also, sucking the mascot' s dick is LSU's thing.
