I don’t understand how making a case for your team to make the playoff is a bad thing for a coach to do. I am positive that if Bama would have had more than one loss he wouldn’t have tried to get Bama in. If I was an A.D. and my coach didn’t do everything he could to get my team in the playoff I would fire his arse.

Oklahoma would be the only team with the potential to keep Bama out if we lose the SECCG unless it’s a blowout.

Purdue will hang around Ohio State’s neck like a noose.

They're in. As much as I hate Bama and resent Saban for the way he screwed LSU he'll be in the playoffs this year. Heck last year they didn't even make the SECCG and somehow qualified for the playoffs.

Go you hairy Dogs! Beat Bama--twice!

Completely agree.... oh ESPN will soon for sure. But will the committee have the balls. To do something it has never done before. Put a conf Champ game loser in the playoffs.

Last year, tOSU had 2 losses to Bamas 1.

If you ya e 3 P5 teams all at 12-1 ; how can you put the one without a conf Champ in???

Talk about making games irrelevant!!!

If you REALLY thought you had the better team, you wouldn’t care who they put in with you.

I know I am in the minority as far as Bama fans go, but I don’t see us getttIng in if we lose. Too much national fatigue/hate out there. Definitely one of four best but I think they look for excuse to keep Bama out IMO

how about earning it...

12-1 SEC runner up
Vs
12-1 B10 Champ
Vs
12-1 B12 Champ ( who revenges only loss with win )

It’s not really hard to comprehend that one doesn’t belong...

Last year there was an argument.., 1 Loss vs 2 losses. And I can kinda understand it.

Same number of losses, should go to some type of tiebreaker... there has to be something to compare...

Oh I know, Did you win your conference.

No fatigue... you just didn’t win the game you needed to.

I'll go you one further, if they lose a close game, I bet they don't fall farther than 2/3 and play notre Dame in the cotton bowl leaving jawja to deal with Clemson.

Gonna be 14-0 Clemson vs 14-0 Bama. Someone will be the first 15-0 CFP Champ. They've played spoiler to each other 2 and 3 years ago.

Best four teams, not best four conference champions.

Would Bama not win the Big Ten championship game against Northwestern? The ACC against Pitt? The Pac-12 or Big 12?

All the conferences are not equal so you can't put equal footing on a conference champion.

Bama is playing a playoff caliber team in their conference championship game.

Bama has had the most dominant regular season in the history of college football, unless they get blown out by Georgia, they are in the playoffs.

Bama is in regardless of SEC Championship (which they will most likely win anyway).

Really? I don’t remember winning a conference championship, but do remember winning something bigger.

I do not know how the rest of the country would feel about having two ACC teams and two SEC teams in the playoff. I think you would see some major changes in the Committee if that happens.

Nowhere does it say only conference champions are allowed. Notre Dame isn’t even in a conference
