The Spartans were the greatest army in their time. They also had a tradition where an older soldier would take a new young solider (12 years old or so) to be his mentor and to pork the hell out of him for a few years.

You can’t explain the gay away. It’s a horrible tradition and it needs to stop. Can arse to mouth be thrown out of the sec for grooming?

I know there is a lot of history behind those Aggie cheer boys....but it absolutely is the cringiest thing in all of football...at all levels. TAMU really needs to disband those guys.

That might be true, but it's still uber-cring. Come on, it's really dumb. Figure out a better way to preserve history. This is not it. You are in the SEC now. Do better.

Distance all you want. The vast majority of your former students and fans will not let it die. Incoming freshmen are indoctrinated and there is always massive pushback from your fanbase when the idea of something different is floated, for example, female cheerleaders. It’s tradition, therefore yell leaders will be the butt of jokes for years to come.
