I call bullshite on those saying UF fans are bad.

When football starts back up and a visiting ranter is coming to the game send me a PM. I’ll tell you where to go and maybe even spend time with you. I’ve been going to games for many years and rarely see our fan base treat a visitors fan base like I read here. Are there douche bags? Of course but what fan base doesn’t.
If I were to see a Florida fan harassing an opponent for no reason I’d call him out for being an embarrassment to the rest of us. If kids or ladies are around then I’d really step up. If you come here and want to start trouble then I’m sure you can find it. Most people regardless of their team just want to have a good time. You only get 6-7 home games a year and should try to relish every moment you can.
The few Gator fans on here will back me up I think in saying that we welcome you here and will raise a drink in celebration win or lose.

Florida fans are pretty bad but at least you aren’t soft like many of the pearl clutching bible belter in this conference who blush at a tiger bait.

We were bad in the 90s no doubt.
Recently from what I've seen it isnt as bad. I've seen a few fans harrassed, but also seen other Gator fans get in the middle of it to calm it down.
Just stay away from the frat areas and ignore the trashy drunks who live in Starke and Alachua and you should be fine.

Most of the ones I've interacted with are trash. Sat in the UF section for the game in BR last year and this 50 year old guy tried to fight us after LSU went up in the second half lol.

Several years back there were 2 Florida fans in our section and man did they do some shite talking, getting in everyone’s face etc. in a sea of an LSU section. Not another Florida fan in sight. Haha

update bad. Real bad so that that so much partying so many people dying from partying on the beach and so much trash loitering as well. Yah uf fans are the worst. Arkansas fans are far and away the most underrated in this category and probably straight up lead.

At least 50% of Gator fans at the games in Gainesville are old folks. From all those retirement villages. So yeah they are pretty decent. The campus crowd is on the trashy side as SEC students go however.
But hey, I saw a far more trashy group once upon a time visiting UF. U of Miami vs UF back when I had a home in Sorrento. LOL! Even the UF students were appalled at the raw slutdom, drug addled creeps and strange looking in a weird trashy fashion. They came into Gainesville and the UF campus drugged up and drunk, got worse at the game and showed their asses big time after a big victory. I saw at least two huge Gainesville PD arse whuppings of those cretins that Saturday night. What a freaking show and most of the action was off the field!
