We’ re waiting for the B12 to correct itself. We’re not a cultural fit here and that’s fine.

Give it time, you'll be fine.

You're more Southern than B1G midwestern.

Your BoTs just need to get your faculty and students under control.

Serious question, has Mizzou beaten Alabama, Auburn, or LSU in football since joining

What’s Kentucky, Scar, Vandy, Tennessee’s record versus those three since 2012?

Arkansas: 6

Missouri has done more for conservative politics than Arkansas. Calling it like I see it, bitch.

The Ignorance of this post is off the charts...

-2 stadium upgrades since joining
-Back to Back SEC East Championships
-Contributed the previously untapped St. Louis and Kansas City TV markets
-Kelly Bryant chose to transfer here over anywhere in the nation (Including Auburn, oh the irony)

as for "not fighting", that's a load of shite and we all know it...
-The Basketball team is climbing out of the cellar after the worst record in program history a few years back and then both of the Porter brothers going down...
-The football program is finally recovering from losing Pinkle and dealing with the BS protest (while still managing to slaughter some of "THE" SEC teams you mentioned such as UT and UF for the past couple years)

But we were so-so on Slavery, damn Yankees don't belong here!

Well, considering how MO has turned from a bellwether state into a southern one overnight, you’re probably right scrooster.

Y'all should be thankful that the SEC decided to still take y'all after that.

Say what you will but Mizzou played the correct hand.

Nebraska was a brand with AAU membership yet the B1G still asked for 50 million to join (5 million per year over 10 years). Bugeaters were too dumb to extract better terms for the better brand. Under the Gee plan KU and MU would go to the B1G under the same 50 million fee. MU said "screw that" and took Oklahoma's invite to the SEC for a mere 50 bucks.

Nebraska joined the B1G and it was B1G member schools that kicked them out of the AAU. MU joined the SEC and kept their AAU status. Missouri may be the "show me" state but Mizzou is the "show me the money" school!

See, I don't believe that OU was ever a serious contender for the SEC. OU was politically tied to OSU and had to bring them wherever they went. That is why the talk was UT/TT/OU/OSU to the PAC.

Well I was not going there but congrats on identifying Mizzou football with Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky football. Problem is when you make that comparison the Tigers have lost to all 4 of the lesser teams making them even lesser.

OU was a serious contender but B1G was never going to take OK State. PAC had turned them down when the deal changed and TAMU went to the SEC. With the B1G and PAC saying no on OK State born should have taken the invite but did not. Bet they wish they had not tried to trow their weight around to the SEC.

Because that would be a sad set of data for Mizzou.

I believe this should be directed towards either Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, South Carolina or Tennessee.

Depends, do you only play football to have a better head to head, or to make it to Atlanta? It all depends on what your priorities are. And I think, just maybe, I know yours.

How about we settle on not lumping Texas in with MS/LA/AL/AR?
