Mississippi State does work.
They fight. Very respectable, so no argument here.
Contribute to standards and try, or find another place to be continuously lazy at, while reaping easy SEC money.

Of course they do. I’ll readily admit that AU had a great athletic year despite being only fair in Football.
Put it this way. Add any team from my list as an expansion team in 2012 and say that the next 7 years went the exact same. This board would almost certainly say that that team hasn’t provided much

I don't think that those "future hopes and dreams" really apply. They have had five years, and have tripped over themselves continuously as far as their "immediate contribution to the SEC" is concerned as initially promised with the whole "St. Louis Market."
Like I said, glad to have them, but eventually please try to contribute into the "bigger picture."

Just saying, they are the only one with any memorable and meaningful hardware. We all know what everyone cares about. Any fan would trade all of those BS trophies for one football trophy

Arkansas does an amazing job for our conference. I don't think that that is really debatable. They are, and have continuously been, a perfect fit since joining.

Your football championship should come with an asterisk.
If an SEC school could play a national championship game without having to play an SEC schedule to get there, the SEC would never lose a national championship game.
Your toughest game all year was Texas A&M - a team Mississippi State and LS- (oops, sorry LSU) handled with ease. Clemson came into the championship fresh, while Alabama came in beat up.

Ole Miss - cheaters, but have a nice new basketball venue
Miss State - no nattys, but have been fighting in sports, WBB, Baseball, Basketball, football.
South Carolina - have some recent baseball nattys, been competitive in football and basketball, have a top WBB program, even if the HC is a count
Texas A&M - 100 mil upgrade to their football stadium, heisman winner since joining, finally beat LSU, great track, top facilities.
Tennessee - kind of down, but great past success in football, WWB, and men's basketball has been good
