what they fail to realize is LSU fans only wanted (or claimed to want Vitell0-2) just to see Tn melt and of course they melt regardless. LSU honestly did wonders with the young team and bull pen disasters and injuries this year, its comical to think LSU won't be back at Omaha in two years tops (likely next year), and LSU wins games in Omaha unlike some.

Underwhelming hire? Lol its baseball not football. Hires are made every year that people think are underwhelming. Rarely are baseball hires a big splash. There is a lot of coaches out there capable of building a program. LSU just hired a guy who is 44 and has achieved more than most coaches out there who people think wouldn't have been Underwhelming. I bet Lemonis was underwhelming to the SEC rant when MSU didn't get Shlossnagle. Message board geniuses.

Vitello was high on everyone's list until the shouting match with Van Horn at Arkansas. Then his act at the CWS scared away the big money schools. He needs to clean up his act for the next couple of seasons. Is the Tennessee AD still going to make him the highest paid in the SEC?
