Embarrassing reactions. I’m fairly sure he was never even on Woodward’s radar despite whatever your local radio host’s sources concocted to get followers, clicks, and listeners etc. He seems like a good coach with a bright future (so did Cannezaro mind you) but he’s far from proven for the hype he gets. That being said, if he sustains couple years of success, he’s going to get an offer that will make him leave Tennessee. You guys should have higher standards and at least win a game in Omaha before crowning your coach the greatest to ever live. LSU hired a proven winner. Good hire. Downvote away first year baseball fans…

Lol please explain to me what makes Vitello so great? What happens if he doesnt reload this good but not great team and doesn’t make Omaha for another 5 years. He has no sustained success with coaching a program. You guys just like him bc he cusses in the dugout and he had a good team for the first time in however many years. Its amusing.

Tennessee was arguably the worst program in the SEC. in four years he has them in Omaha and top recruiting classes on the way. Again, do whatever makes you feel better about your coach I don’t really give a shite. But Tony V is undoubtedly the best up and coming coach in baseball.

Fact. Will be a drop off next year but should be in the thick of it the next season as the freshmen get a year of exp.
