If he fails miserably, he could always come to Florida
Kerry Dixon - bad results in his 3 years at FAU and FIU
Brad Davis - bad results in his 1 year at East Carolina and 1 year at North Texas
Corey Bell - horrible results in 3 years at FAU
Doug Nussmeier led Michigan to it's worse offense ever and gets hired away to give the same to Florida.
With their lack of results and experience, why are these coaches getting shots at a major power 5 school?

We've come full circle already and he hasn't even been head coach for a full season yet
Even if we did rehire Miles he would never return LSU to a quarter of its greatness at his peak because he's such a hardass about change and letting other people tinker around with "his" team.

I know, right? That means it's real bad.

would LSU approach Les Miles, again
You see, this is why I say that family reunions are a danger to mankind in Alabama. Inbreds like you are the byproduct of these gatherings.

I do have to wonder, and it's only hypothetical, but if O were to struggle, how short is his leash given his track record? If he went 7-5 this year, would they pull the plug? Would the PTB get nervous and amp up the heat for 2018? Regardless of what anyone says, this was a bit of a gamble so if it looks like it's starting to go south, how long does he get to correct things?
I have it on good authority from some high ups in TAF that he's going to be fired if LSU doesn't cover the spread against BYU this weekend.

Don't be a dumbass. If Ed O fails he gone, and we go out and get a big name coach. Miles is never gonna coach here again
