Burrow.

As a LSU fan it’s easy to fall into the homer hole. So I jumped into the Saints homer hole.

As a Saints fan I know neither will be available, but if....

Burrow looks to be in the Brady-Brees category. Would kill to get him. Looks to be a future Super Bowl MVP and Hall of Famer. Brains, brawn, work ethic, and instinct.

Tua looks to be a NFL franchise QB. As a Saints fan I wouldn’t kill to get him him, but I would lie, cheat, and steal. Apparently less football brains than Burrow, but probably teachable. Injuries make his brawn suspect but the arm is there. Work ethic is there. Instinct is lacking but training and experience might develop it.

With Brees getting closer to retirement, if the Saints managed to snag either, I’d have to redo my Natty celebration! But, if given the choice, Burrow over a guaranteed healthy Tua.

I pray that they both stay healthy.
I hope that whatever minor miracle is required that the Saints get one.
A homer can hope!

I would take Burrow. His pocket awareness is something you don't see very often at this level. He reads defenses better than a lot of current NFL QB's.

I noticed that this year.

Like I said, also a long-time Saints fan, so I'm spoiled by and used to seeing Drew Brees every Sunday.
That made watching LSU's old offense so painful at times .

The biggest difference I saw between the two QBs- Tua would make great throws, but there were some that you think "not going to get that on a good NFL secondary. That guy was technically covered, but Tua just beat the guy on the field".

Burrow did that at times, but a whole bunch of times he'd beat the call. No matter what defense did, there'd be a weak spot somewhere, and he'd find it over and over. There would be one open spot, and sure enough, Burrow is putting the ball there.

but you're still insecure. Go to a psychiatrist about that. But, you'll never be Alabama. Never.
It seems you're the one insecure, so cry some more.

I'm not crying at all. I know we will be back in the playoff next season.
