Pretty surprised someone is really going out on the limb to hire him.
It was the best possible hire Auburn could make.
It had to be someone who wasn't up and coming, due to the way Auburn has treated it's recent coaches.
It had to be someone who is just looking for a paycheck, like when Miss St had to hire Leach due to firing their previous coach before their 3rd year(Leach was also the best possible hire Miss St could have made). The only other alternative was someone like Freeze who has baggage and had no chance with higher level programs.
Who the frick else could Auburn realistically get?
