I see what you've done here.

This thread wasn't necessary as we've already accepted your rivalry application.

Haha. No. This thread is a legit conversational thread. No hidden rivalryistic jabs here.

none of us would cry if he left.......just saying. Pretty good place to be. Successful coach, 3 bowls in a row, 2-1 over your rival, new athletics facility, stadium rennovations, good AD, president on same page as coaching and AD....then Hudspeth enters!

A 6-6 coach? Haha, that's funny.

He landed a few big time recruits, big deal. So did Gene Chizik.

7-6 with bowl win. How did Auburn do in their bowl game? Oh yeah...

If Freeze ever does become good enough to be considered by Alabama, Ole Miss won't let a number let him go. Both OM and MSU have funds that are set up for coaches good enough to never leave because of pay.

this kind of thinking is how people end up paying HDN big bucks after a good year

He will never leave. He's going to build one incredible football empire up there in Oxford. All out blitzkrieg soon to come on the state of Alabama.

Alabama can try to get him from us, but it ain't happening.

If Alabama wanted Hugh Freeze after Saban retired, they'd could have him. The Ole Miss job is a high school job compared to Alabama. Ole Miss will NEVER win a National Title.

Doesn't matter who, they are destined to fail.
All they will hear from Bama fans is 'Nick didn't do it that way', or 'Bear didn't do it that way.'

Guys, LSU has played football since Saban left in 2004. Les Miles replaced him. I think that would classify Les as his "Heir." Alternatively, Cam Cameron also replaced Saban.

No true. I would much rather coach at Ole Miss for the same pay at UA and have the fans expect roughly 2 less wins in a year.

If you have a loser's mentality, then sure...
