Texas is probably one of the handful of FBS teams who has never portal’d an offensive lineman. There’s no way Sark went through a summer and fall camp with these guys and couldn’t see maybe there was some room for competition.

We decided to opt against a running back too, even though running back injury decimation has derailed two national championship runs. Guess what happened? Two starting backs are banged up.

We didn’t return much production at all at WR, we bring in a single last minute addition from Stanford who had an existing hamstring issue.

Sark sold an entire season.

Neither

Every horn insider has reported that there was no more nil money this year and they spent every last dime on the existing players

The defense is elite. They took way too long to adjust to Billy’s pulling gap running scheme, which is funny because they did the same thing in Austin last year with success. Florida never had to leave a running formation, they could just max protect, and pick on the young DBs who had no idea how to play cloud.

Your defense got exposed yesterday.

If Legway was competent, they would have scored 40.

Based on what? Florida ran all over them...and Lagway also had his way.

Florida was one of the few teams last season who ran the ball successfully on Texas believe it or not. They ran a similar scheme today. They basically pull guards to create extra gaps, we didn’t adjust till the 2nd half.

He had his way because he never had to leave a run set. It made blitzes predictable.

I am just asking, what makes you think that UT's defense is elite...it would have to be based on the Ohio State and Florida games only...can't include the cupcakes in the equation.

I really don’t think talent is the issue boss. Y’all have great players on both sides at all 3 levels. They just looked uninterested and soft.

Once arch is in the NFL as the first overall pick next year you will have more money freed up to buy some better players
