More like Nebraska. Buffalo Bills weren't going to maintain their success getting to the Super Bowl forever. Nebraska, however, kept trending up under Osborne for years but couldn't get over the hump until finally they went gangbusters in the mid-90's.

Probably slightly more bummed than after UGA THUMPED Vandy 48-3 last season.
Vandy's STILL Vandy.
Vandy's STILL Vandy.

Out of curiosity I looked up and no team has lost 3 in a row.
Alabama lost back to back ones in 93, 94 (of course they won it in 92) and UGA lost back to back ones in 11, 12.
Only two teams have won it consecutively, Florida won it 4 straight times (93,94,95,96) and then Tenn won it twice after (97,98) but outside of that there haven't been any repeat champions, which speaks a lot to the depth of hte conference.
In fact since the 90's repeat appearances are pretty sparse.
Another interesting fact, there are no undefeated teams in the SEC Championship, every team that has appeared has also lost at some point.

Schools I meant, like every program that has been to the game has also lost it at least once.
There are teams with appearances that are winless however (Ark 0-3, MSU 0-1, Scar 0-1)

What are winning percentages for all teams? Can't look up right now

I know UGA has played in 5 with a record of 2-3.
So UGA is 40%.
So UGA is 40%.

The goal when you start the season is the SECCG. Why the hell would we be pissed if we made it and lost?

How? The loser of the SECCG is generally the #2 team in the conference behind only the winner. If we make it to ATL with our schedule and ahead of Carolina with theirs, it means we have a maximum of two losses on the season.
