I find it funny that all those appearances Florida made in that SECCG back then only netted them 1 National Championship

They go to 4 SECCGs and get clobbered in the NC one year and the next year they win a half mulligan.

Alabama goes to 2 SECCGs and wins 3 nationals

South Carolina is better now.

And they still have only made the SECCG once and with 3 or 4 losses.

Florida has been better than Richt during his tenure.

But lately they can't seem to beat the guy.

LSU has done more.

Except for last year when UGA did more.

Alabama is better unquestionably.

Well, no shite. Who is Alabama not better than across the board of D-1 teams?

quote:

As long as Sumlin or another great coach is running the A&M program, I predict they'll do more in their first 6 years of SEC play than Richt has in 12 at Georgia.

You're just being foolish now. A&M had their best year since 1998 and now they're going to do everything Richt has done in half the time?
Let's not even mention the fact that Richt's first 6 years (your time frame for Aggie success) saw UGA go 61-17 with two conference titles. Let's see A&M even match Richt's first 6 years.

When Auburn and Tennessee return, you'll compete for 8th best.

This is a really lame troll attempt.

No shame in losing to Sumlin and Manziel. It happens to the best of em.

It was such a breath of fresh air to play another school besides Florida. No doubt UF is a great program, but for the sake of sheer 'experience,' it was neat to walk in to the Georgia Dome and see a mix of red & black contrast our crimson & white.

For what its worth--the loudest I've ever heard an SEC school crowd at the SECCG was last year when UGA returned the blocked kick for a TD. I think that's when the UGA fans started to "taste it."

I seriously lost my shite when that happened. Figured they would pull away and win quite easily.

I'm quite certain that I would've been arrested for something if UG had won that game. It should've been over with Murray's int.
