I can see the Vols going 9-3 through the reg. schedule & finishing 10-3 after a bowl win. I believe the Vols can win the East again, but they have to at least split with UF & UGA. Auburn is my pick to win the West. LSU will be right up ther with them though.

GO VOLS!!!

Spank them Bruins!!!

One never knows with the Vols. I'm guessing 9-3.

i think the vols were a lot closer to a 7-5 reg season last year than anything better. Very thin on D-line esp interior. Not sure about LB depth either.
Think maybe Ga Fla Aub are prob losses and a couple of other toss ups. Give them an 8-4 at best. Can u say Peach bowl?

I have UT as my sleeper team in the East as well. I expect them to win it or they will be the big factor on who does.

I am not sold on Uof F until I see a defense again and UGA has too tough of a road to travel.

Tennessee could surprise a few. I recently watched the 2006 LSU-UT game. Crompton has plenty of talent. That plus experience plus UT's already-talented defense makes them my pick for number two in the west (behind Florida.) UGA? I don't think so.

What we know Tennessee was waxed in Berkley 2007.
Tennessee sputtered throughout 2007.
Tennessee finished strong in 2007.
(especially versus USC)
Tennessee hung in and beat Kentucky in Lex in 4 OT'S!
Tennessee played LSU toughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in the SEC Champ game.
Tennessee is itching to get revenge with the Pac Ten currently.
Tennessee just lost one of its premeir runningbacks to a severe knee injury.

Fulmer has to prove to me that he can be successful without Cutcliffe.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it goes down like last year.

All year the focus will be on UGA and UF and then when the dust settles Tenn has the tiebreaker to go the championship game.

UGA's schedule is impossible, and if UT wins that game with UF in knox early on in the year they'll be sitting pretty.

They are my suprise team. I actually think they win the East.

I like them, too, but the schedule's not in their favor this year, just like Georgia.

Florida's my pick for the East, with Tennessee and Georgia tied for second.

I think they will be the suprise "tank team" and completely collapse.
