Everyone claims that Mett has all the tools, NFL arm, NFL size, but LSU's success against Bama will likely be determined by how tough the kid is.

Did anyone see the pounding Bama put on Tyler Wilson last year? That kid is tougher than a two dollar steak. I know LSU's OL is much better than Arky's but Jarrett Lee was not the same QB he had been all year after he was rocked by Hightower in the November game.

If Mett has the Tyler Wilson (Brett Favre) gene and can remain poised and unaffected by Bama's relentless pressure then LSU wins and plays (and beats) some other wannabe contender in the BCS.

LSU and Bama are the two best teams but someone else will be undefeated (USC, OKLA, FSU, WISC) and play the November winner in BCSCG. No way the unlikely series of events that had to occur last year happens again and the loser gets the mulligan.

Well we might have to watch him play in the SEC to answer that.

If Mett doesn't get injured before 11/3 Alabama will send him out of the game.

He's a big kid size-wise. I'm sure he can take a hit.

He tried to pick a fight with one of our DL.

But in all seriousness, I'm sure he'll be fine.

This makes me question his decision making ability.

Thats good. A good QB will always have some arrogance. I hope he runs his mouth to Alabama's front 7. I think our defense plays better when theyre mad.

Congratulations for writing the dumbest comment I have seen here in some time.

Why? Because Alabama injures every QB they play?

Unless Bama has suddenly gotten really dirty and just engages in a bunch of late hits, they hardly ever injure any QBs. They get QB pressure, but they don't injure guys.

Hurting another player is not a mark of toughness or even effectiveness. It is usually a mark of sloppy play our outright maliciousness, something that I have not seen from Alabama really ever, but especially under Saban.

I'm a well-known Alabama hater, but I give them more credit than that.

Now, freak stuff can always happen, but how many QB's does Alabama send out on a stretcher? Seriously?

Could be injury prone. Miles said he had an injury at the end of last season, although he didn't play in games.

The Spartans. All of them.

But they were all clean hits.

That comment was made with tongue in cheek.

Who pissed in your cereal this morning? Funny how one little comment can send somebody into such a rage. Chill the frick out.

Sorry. I didn't see you smiling.

Here, I never know who is being serious or not when it comes to Alabama.

I was actually taking up for Bama here, which almost never happens. I guess I was angry that I had to do so.

Was there anything else said about that? I know Mett seemed confused by it at Media Days.
