We should have interviewed more people in between the freeman and neilson offers..instead we just interviewed arnett and for some reason o didnt think he was the right fit.
Whatever that means,I guess it's the unique d he runs.
Obviously he thought neilson was a done deal Idk that he expected payton to promote neilson and work so hard to keep him from lsu.
I'm guessing they are interviewing as fast as possible now.

If all means one then ok. we offered two and one said yes but they were blocked from coming here and promoted so he wouldnt be so pissed off at payton about it.

You are getting to that point like we were with Freeze. Nobody wants to come be under him because they are wondering how long the ride will last.

It's not the most tenable situation since Orgeron is on thin ice. Another bad season, and the boosters may just eat his outrageous contract

This is an odd take that many of you constantly have.
If a defensive coordinator comes in and does a good job, there's no guarantee he gets fired even if O does.
He may even gain an inside track to the head coaching job.
