Location thing? You mean not a good fit for his kids to be in school there?
He may have preferred to stay in the recruiting area that he's already familiar with.

New Orleans is probably one of the worst places in Louisiana to live.

tBinder will hire a DC when tBinder is ready to hire a DC.

I would argue that the entire state is the worst place to live, but c'est la vie. Obviously some people like it. But I've been to Baton Rouge, and the food is good. I'll stop there ...

I don't see how anyone can argue with this air tight logic. Sid has solved the case.

And I laughed today, so there’s that.

Lot of people like it I guess. Even Saban still has a home there.

I am sure it is because Coach O is trying to find the perfect candidate.
He probably has a pile of applications and is methodically going over each one as we speak.
Trust in Coach O, he is on top of this, I promise!

On second thought he may be sitting on his couch naked eating a bowl of gumbo thumbing through tinder for 30 year olds.
Anything is possible.

Oddly specific, almost like you've fantasized about it or something.

Eh, just reminded me of the ron white eating cheetos naked on a bean bag monologue

Seems like people would be beating our door down for a four year deal and only having to coach one.

Even Texas was able to get their eighth or ninth choice. LSU is a better job than that cesspool, so what gives?

I'm glad someone's laughing.

This is an odd take that many of you constantly have
Most are trolling but there could be some validity to the idea that until the ncaa punishment should there be one LSU will have difficulty finding the type of DC they want.
If a DC comes in and Onis fired with cause then it’s not right to ask any new coach to keep a DC he didn’t hire to begin with.
If he would be willing to take a program that just fired his head coach for ncaa scandal then he’s likely not the DC you want any way. The type of HC LSU would want would be a huge hire and not some small school DC who gets the job because no self respecting coach wants to be buried under sanctions that he didn’t take part in and set himself up for failure.
