How ridiculous is the current LSU win streak?

16 wins, 8 of those were against top 10 teams at the time they were played, 4 were in the top 5. Only 2 of those top 10 wins were home games.

quote:

16 Consecutive victories for LSU, the longest current winning streak in the nation, with half the wins coming against teams ranked in the top 10 of The Associated Press Poll at the time of the game.

Some people might get tired of winning all the time.

But not me.

Five finished in the top 10 for those triggered by game time rankings. Seven finished in the top 15.

This post is not acceptable Willy.
Get your mind right & back to the Crimson Tide obsession.

I doubt anyone is going to argue that you had one helluva season. That was some great football I witnessed. In one way I’m glad Burrow is gone yet on the other hand it was fun watching him sling the ball around.

You can be a fan of another team but still enjoy something special like that.

ETA: Your defense got much better down the stretch, too.

Yeah that defense peaked at precisely the right time. Those last three games you could see the confidence, and of course by then Burrow and the boys were on autopilot once they figured out what the opposing defense was up to. Was just pure cunning at that point as Burrow ID'd what they were up to then cut them to shreds. There simply was no stopping it.

Thing of beauty.

It was certainly the best LSU team I ever saw in my lifetime. And you are correct, the defense peaked at just the right time. There is no doubt that Lsu was going to score points but had your defense not come together in the last 4 or 5 games, the Natty could have been a different story.

Burrow deserves all the praise in the world but that defense in my opinion got overlooked for the job they did vs a very dangerous Clemson offense. They got in his head bigtime!

It was the best season you’ve ever seen, unless you’re like 97 years old

How long did it take Bama fans to get used to 15-0 seasons?

Has your team ever had a 15-0 season?

I’ll hang up and listen.
